New domain name for the blog

This a just a quick post to let you know that the blog has moved to a new domain name.

Before: sebastinux.com

I initially didn’t want to reveal my full name.

I came up with a domain name based on my first name (Sébastien).

The “-inux” suffix reminded me of “Linux”, but this wasn’t intentional.
I was just looking for a domain name that:

• was pronounceable, in both French and English,
• wasn’t too long,
• had no negative connotations that I was aware of,
• was still available.

Unfortunately, I didn’t like it that much – I find it slightly ridiculous.

After: sebastien-mouchet.fr/blog

The new domain name simply consists of my full name (Sébastien Mouchet).

I plan to keep the redirect from the previous domain name to the new one active throughout 2024.
