Proton Pass: a new password manager

This is just a quick heads-up to let you know that I’ve updated my blog post about password management, in order to mention a brand new option: Proton Pass.

• How to manage your passwords securely

You’ll find a small paragraph about it in the 4th section, “Other secure password managers”, right next to 1Password and Dashlane.

Basically, Proton Pass is fully encrypted, Open Source, and hosted in Switzerland.
It isn’t as full-featured as Bitwarden, 1Password or Dashlane – yet.

For the time being, I’d still recommend Bitwarden, as it has a solid track record, but Proton Pass does look quite promising.
Feel free to try it (there’s a free plan), and see if you like it.
